Lahody meats is a butcher shop in Muncie Indiana that focuses on giving their customers 

quality meat every time that they walk into the butcher shop. The shop carries all cuts of meat including fresh chuck patties, T-Bone steaks. Pork chops and many more quality meats. Lahody meats also offer bundles where you can get different types 

of cuts of meat for a discounted prices since one is buying in so much and these bundles can range from one hundred pounds to mean to only seventeen pounds of meats. l Located on 1308 Wheeling Ave right in the middle of Muncie, and is opened Monday through Saturday ten am to six pm. This butcher shop has been serving Muncie locals since 2008 but his family has been in the cow business since 1965 . His family comes from a long line of cow farms starting off with dairy cows and then moving over to meat cows after being in dairy cow farming for almost two decades. After serving in the US Marine Corps and graduating from Ball State Ron decided that he wanted to go into the family business and learned everything he needed to know about cutting meat and selling it both retail and wholesale. In 2008 Ron decided it was time to take a big step opening his very own butcher shop here in muncie indiana and was committed to providing the best steaks possible. This is true to this day almost twenty years later due to the reviews from happy customers that have shopped at Lahody meats. Matt Glentzer gave the butcher shop a five star rating and wrote this “ I Purchased a hand-made deli sandwich, and it was awesome! I also bought some food to take home and cook later. Great service and selection! I was also able to find homemade pork cracklins and stuffed pork chops. The twice baked potatoes were very good and easy to heat and eat. Loaded up on meat on sticks for the grill, and they were awesome. I will be back again.” This proves that locals love this butcher shop and it is a staple in the muncie community that everyone should visit at least once. This is not the only thing that Lahody has that everyone should visit at least once in muncie and that is Ron Lahody’s “Trust Your Butcher” steakhouse. 

If you don't want to or know how to cook your own steak this is a great option for those people because you can taste the world famous Lahody steak and also enjoy a nice dinner with someone special. The streak house took about a decade for Ron to move just from the butcher shop landscape into the steakhouse business and was opened in 2018. The steakhouse is located on 231 South Walnut Street and is open Monday through Saturday four thirty pm and ten pm. Both the butcher shop and the steakhouse have the same mission and that mission is making sure that people eat good quality steak either by cooking it themselves or getting them from the steakhouse. These two places are must stops for everyone in Muncie that they need to visit at least once while they are here.
