Guardian Brewing Company

Guardian Brewing Company is a brewhouse and taphouse located near the heart of Muncie Indiana. The company was started in 2015 by two lifelong friends Bill Kerr and Jason Phillips, they wanted to create good if not great crafted beer. They cared about making great quality beer and also being involved in the community that they both lived in. The guardian brew company is located at the MadJax Maker Space on 514 E. Jackson St. which is near downtown Muncie. The taphouse is open every single day with four days (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Sunday) open Eleven am to Ten pm and the other three days (Thursday, Friday, Saturday) Eleven am to midnight. This makes the Guardian Brewing Company a great spot to grab some friends and spend the night trying different beers. 

The main thing that The Guardian Brewing Company sells is beer, wine, and cider which they get their wine and cider from local places as well. Their wine comes from another Muncie staple and that is Tonne winery and their cider from Michigan based brewing company Blakes. Guardian Brewing does not just sell beer but you can also go into their taphouse and order from their kitchen. In the kitchen they have a wide range of food that you can order, this includes twelve different types of pizza, subs, and other different appetizers. They take the same amount of pride with their food and they do with their beer so you know that the food will be really good quality. Beer and food aside you can also purchase merchandise from them which include shirts, outwear like jackets and sweatshirts, headgear like hats, glassware, and much more to show off the brewing company logo. These are just a few things that the Guardian Brewing Company offers for sale but they do many different things for the community and make sure they give back to them. One of these things that they do to give back to the community is that they have a Ball and Brew package. This package includes one craft beer and one ticket to a Ball State home game where you can turn in the voucher and a craft beer for only twenty dollars. This way they can support Ball State athletics and be the official craft beer of ball state athletics. This is just one way that they are giving back to their surrounding community and helping people around them. 

The beer selection at The Guardian Brewing Company is very varsity and they have

something for everyone. This includes all different types of ABV and different flavors so there's stuff that everyone should like and enjoy. There are currently fourteen different beers on tap; these include neon Vikings, jazzercise, The Ogre, Squirrel Shoes, and Counterfeit Sasquatch. These beers can be sold wholesale or just individually and The Guardian Brewing company is known to supply many different Muncie businesses with beer. These businesses include roots Burgerbar, Brother’s bar, and Greek’s Pizzeria. The Guardian Brewing Company is a great place to take some friends and try out great quality beer and support a business that supports the surrounding community.
